The Golden Calf

The interactive installation offers viewers a transformational experience of being between the real and the virtual. By simulating the object of pagan worship in the new digital world, the artist shows how technology can create a post-religious utopia or propagate its own myths, and how it’s supposed rationalism does not protect against the ritualization of behaviours towards it.
