A virtual museum of virtuality.

An interactive museum which can be visited in both real and virtual spaces. It exhibits an interactive bibliography comprised of a selection of works of art, film, theatre, literature, architecture and scholarship which, according to Hegedüs, have marked crucial turning points in the historical development of the notion of the “virtual”. The visitors to the digital museum can choose among four rooms, where they move using a tracking device which detects hand motions. In this way, the installation abandons the pulpit-bound and catalogue-based manner of browsing through collections and archives.
