A telerobotic community garden controlled remotely by internet users. With an online control panel in their search engine, the installation users could steer the industrial, robotic arm, plant and water plants and observe them grow with web cameras transferring live images to their computers. Having created a robust community of remote gardeners, the installation became the most recognisable example of the art of telepresence, where the users had a real influence on a living biological organism and where they could interact with one another.
